Code Talker: A Novel About the Navajo Marines of World War II
Ned Begay lies about his age to join the Marine Corps, using his native language to send crucial messages back and forth to aid in the conflict against Japan. What are some of the dangers that he faced? Would you be willing to go to war and why?

when he was in the military he faced things like almost getting killed I would not be willing to go to the military because i would probley get killed or something like that.
I would go to war,to help people that were having bad times. It would be hard to leave my family and friends behind though.It would also be hard to lie about my age.
In this story Ned Begay was sent to school and soon wanted to joined the Marine Corps. He lies about his age to be in the Marine Corps. He faced descrimination. I would be willing to go to war to show white people that being Native American is useful.
The dangers that he faced is that he had to carry that radio around all the time. I would not be willing to go to war because I don't want to die!
No I will not be able to go to war I would die first. But he was very brave to lie about his age to get in. He faced lots of race comment also . But the book was very good i loved it.

The dangers he faced was when he went to war as a young marine. No i would not go to war untill i was the approte age.
Some of the dangers faced by the navajo when eh was in war in normaday. No i would not go to war because its to dangerous
